HRDF is the old name; today it's HRD Corp. If your company contributes the levy, AI training for your staff can usually be funded from it. We prepare the outline, trainer profile and quotation your HR needs to apply.
The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) became Human Resources Development Corporation, HRD Corp for short. Many HR people still say HRDF or HRDC, and search for it that way. Same levy, same eTRiS system, same process.
Employers registered with HRD Corp pay a monthly levy. That levy builds a balance your company can draw on to train staff, through grant applications made before the training happens.
The rule that catches most companies: you apply before the training, not after. Training that starts before the grant is applied for can't be claimed later.
From HRD Corp's own guidance for the HRD Corp Claimable Courses scheme, as published in 2026:
| Training type | Apply at least |
|---|---|
| In-house (at your office) | 14 calendar days before training starts |
| Public class | 3 calendar days before, from 15 June to 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027, back to 14 days. |
| Start window | Approved training must start within 90 days after that period |
Rules change. Always check HRD Corp's Claimable Courses page and the official Grant Helper (PDF) before you submit. Our own public classes close registration 14 days ahead, so the documents are ready in time.
Schedule and content, module by module, with learning objectives. Written for your programme and dates.
The trainer's background and qualifications, in the format HR usually needs for the application.
Course fee for your group or per participant, addressed to your company, so the amounts in eTRiS match.
After the session we also provide the attendance records your HR needs for the claim.
All our programmes are registered with HRD Corp, so any of them can go into your application. Pick by department.

Yes. Public training is also covered under HRD Corp Claimable Courses. Until 31 December 2026 the public-class application needs to be in at least 3 calendar days before, then 14 days from 1 January 2027. We close our public registrations 14 days ahead anyway, so there's time.

Your company does, in eTRiS, because the levy and the grant belong to the employer. We prepare and send every document you need to attach.
